Storms moving toward Montgomery County looking more severe

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Thunderstorms moving toward Montgomery County this afternoon and early evening are looking increasingly severe.

There’s a 40% chance that a Watch will be issued, according to a 3 p.m. update from the Storm Prediction Center of the National Weather Service.

If the storms are severe, damaging wind gusts will be the main concern, but an isolated tornado, as well as 1-inch hail, are also possible, according to the NWS.
