CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Halloween trick-or-treating forecast isn’t looking great for Clarksville, with showers likely and a chance of storms between 1 p.m. and 1 a.m. The chance of rain is 70% to 80%.
The City of Clarksville doesn’t set or recommend days or hours for trick-or-treating, and city officials told Clarksville Now on Tuesday they don’t plan to change that practice.
But some neighborhoods are shifting gears because of the weather. Bruce Thomas said his neighborhood on Wagon Trail Road plans to trick-or-treat on Wednesday the 30th, and he encouraged other neighborhoods to follow suit.

- Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 80. South wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
- Wednesday night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 68. South southeast wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
- Thursday: A chance of showers, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 78. South wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
- Thursday night: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 1am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 1am and 4am, then a chance of showers after 4am. Low around 51. South southwest wind around 5 mph becoming north after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
- Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 68. North northeast wind around 5 mph.
- Friday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 46. North northeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
- Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 75. East southeast wind around 5 mph.
- Saturday night: A 20 percent chance of showers after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 59. Calm wind becoming south southeast around 5 mph after midnight.
- Sunday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 78.
- Sunday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 62.
