MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Wednesday afternoon’s thunderstorm has caused significant damage in the area.
Scattered power outages have been reported across the city due to downed power lines. Most are concentrated in the Crossland Avenue/Cumberland Drive area.
Stay away from downed lines and report at 648-8151.
Jerry Buchanan, Emergency Management Agency Director, said trees have fallen on houses on Patty Run and Dale Terrace.
More trees are down on Lylewood Road, Lake Road, and Timber Trace.
One fallen power line caused a small fire, according to Buchanan. However, no structures are in danger at this time.
