CLARKSVILLE, TN − The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Centerstone is proud to host its 3rd Annual Month of the Military Child Carnival, a celebration honoring the resilience and sacrifices of military children. Open and free to the entire community, this year’s event presented by U.S. Bank promises even more excitement, entertainment, and family-friendly fun.
Clarksville, home to the 101st Airborne Division, 5th Special Forces Group, and 160th SOAR, has a deep appreciation for military families. Each April, the Month of the Military Child recognizes the strength and dedication of military children, and the Cohen Clinic is committed to showing its support through this special event.
“Our community continuously steps up to support our military families,” said Meghan Williams, Outreach Director at the Cohen Clinic. “What started as a simple idea has grown into an annual tradition, thanks to the incredible generosity of our community partners and volunteers.”
Since its inception, the Cohen Clinic Month of the Military Child Carnival has become a highly anticipated event, drawing more than 500 attendees in the first year and 800 attendees last year. This year’s celebration will feature popular attractions, including DIY carnival games with prizes, bounce houses, a dunk tank, magic shows, and food trucks. All attractions are available to attendees free of charge thanks to generous community partners, including presenting sponsor U.S. Bank.
“We’re thrilled to bring this event back for a third year,” said Julie Adams, Clinic Director. “The support from our community has been overwhelming, and we’re excited to provide military families with a day of fun, appreciation, and connection.”
The 3rd annual Month of the Military Child Cohen Clinic Carnival will take place on Saturday, April 26, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of the Cohen Clinic, 775 Weatherly Drive. All are welcome to attend.
