NASHVILLE, Tenn. The National Weather Service has issues a special weather statement for the mid-state for wintry road conditions from early Monday morning through midday.

A storm system will dump rain on the mid-state through tonight followed by snow showers early Monday.

Only light accumulations are expected, however road conditions may be hazardous as rain turns to snow and ices over.
