NASHVILLE, TN – State Rep. Ronnie Glynn of Clarksville was officially sworn in this week on the floor of the House chamber in the State Capitol and immediately got to work.

The Democrat was assigned to three committees: Education Instruction, Criminal Justice and Transportation, as well as the accompanying Education Instruction and Transportation Subcommittees for two of the three.

Glynn said, “I’m excited about being selected to three committees that I’m already passionate about. Now it’s time to keep moving forward and I’m ready to hit the ground running.”

In addition to his new committee assignments, Glynn was elected Democratic Caucus secretary by his caucus peers and this week was chosen by his fellow members in the Tennessee Black Caucus of State Legislators to serve as its sergeant at arms.
