CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The BlueCross State Championship Basketball Tournament is underway at F&M Bank Arena downtown from Thursday through Saturday, as teams and fans from across Tennessee gather for the three-day event.
The tournament, which runs March 5-7, marks the first time the Division II state championship basketball tournament has been held in Clarksville. The event was relocated from Cookeville after Visit Clarksville worked with the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) to bring the tournament to the city.

Eight of Tennessee’s top men’s and women’s private school basketball teams are competing for state titles during the event. The event is expected to draw thousands of visitors to the area over the three-day period.
Fans who cannot attend the games in person can watch the championship matchups through livestream coverage on the NFHS Network with a subscription. The championship games will also be broadcast on select local television stations across Tennessee. Championship games for the tournament will conclude Saturday.
