Stanley Newman Harrell, age 93, of Clarksville, passed away Monday, November 7, 2022, at Tennova Medical Center.

Stanley was born December 6, 1928, in Weaver’s Store, Tennessee to the late Floy May Betts Harrell and Roy Newman Harrell. Stanley is also preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Isobel Hagewood Harrell; sisters, Lucille and Virginia.

Stanley is survived by his daughters, Debra Harrell (Ron) Cooper and Anita Harrell (Michael) Hickey; grandchildren, Amanda Beth Cooper, Wade Newman (Amanda) Cooper, Ross Michael (Irishma) Hickey, Evan Patrick (Tamara Renea) Hickey; great-grandchildren, Trevor Newman Cooper, Ethan Thomas Cooper, Carson Nolan Cooper, Michael Johnson, Abigail Johnson, and Ginny Rose Johnson, Avyanna Patterson, and a great-grandson Cayden Johnson.

After his honorable service in the Air Force in the Seventh Signal Radar Maintenance Team, Stanley continued to serve his community at Frosty Morn and worked there until it closed. He thus began his time at Jersey Miniere Zinc shortly after it opened in 1978, until his retirement.

Stanley was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed boat racing, hunting and fishing.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, November 11, 2022, from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
