A Celebration of Life for 84 year old Stan Brimmer of Cadiz will be Monday, April 18, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.  at King’s Funeral Home with Rev. Don Bunch and Rev. David Banister officiating.  Burial will follow in East End Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Monday at King’s Funeral Home.

Stan Brimmer was born in Cadillac, MI on January 1, 1938 to the late Earl Brimmer and Bernice Mallard Gallup. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Sidney Brimmer and Raymond Brimmer and two sisters, Frances Keelan and Beatrice Barber.

He died Tuesday morning, April 12, 2022 at the Tennessee State Veterans Home in Clarksville, TN.

Stan leaves behind his wife of 64 years, Yvonne Brimmer of Cadiz, KY; three daughters, Louise Lane (Keith), Clarksville, TN, Debbie Boyd, Clarksville, TN, and, Beth Humphreys (Jeff), Clarksville, TN; three grandchildren, Travis Williams (Chris), Denver, CO, Abby DeGrie (Donovan), Gallatin, TN, and Wyatt Humphreys, Orlinda, TN; and one great-grandchild, Bella DeGrie, Gallatin, TN.

Stan was a US Air Force Veteran, Retired Owner of Brimmer Lumber Company, member of the Bethesda United Methodist Church, Gideons International and Barkley Lake Water Board. He enjoyed hunting, golfing and farming.
