A Celebration of Life service for SSG Robert William Rushing, ARMY (Ret), age 77, of Clarksville, TN, will be Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West where he will be laid to rest alongside his wife Evelyn “Bobbie” Rushing. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Robert was born on August 30, 1945, in St. Louis, MO, to Coy and Betty Rushing. He passed away on November 19, 2022. Robert retired from the United States Army, was a member of the Oak Grove Mason’s Lodge, and enjoyed leather working.
In addition to his parents and wife, Robert was also preceded in death by 2 sisters. He is survived by his brother, Coy Dustin Rushing.
