SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. – A man was arrested in Springfield after allegedly hitting his father with a car after an argument.

WKRN News 2 reports that police found Robert Hassell, 52, lying in the driveway of a home on John L. Patterson Dr.

Police determined Robert’s son, 23-year-old Bryant Hassell, reportedly ran over his father with a vehicle after he pulled a gun on Bryant during the argument. A BB gun was found at the scene.

Bryant was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic assault and violation of bond conditions.

Robert was hospitalized at Vanderbilt Medical Center for a leg injury. A warrant for aggravated domestic assault has also been taken out against him.
