SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – At least 26 employers with more than 500 positions to fill in Roberston County will gather at the Springfield Civic Center, 401 N. Main St., for a job fair from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 26.
Goodwill Career Solutions is co-hosting the event with the Robertson County Chamber of Commerce and Workforce Essentials.
Employers include Airtech, TCAT-Nashville, Bath Fitter, Electrolux, Randstad Services, Robertson County Sheriff, Irving Materials Inc., Robertson County Schools, Five Star Food Service, Johnson Electric, Owens Corning, Dometic (Atwood Mobile), The Waters of Robertson (NHC), The Waters of Springfield (Golden Living), North Crest Medical Center, Peyton’s Midsouth, Dorman Products, Unarco, Macy’s, Morningside of Springfield, Macy’s Logistics, Master Staff, Tate Ornamental, Lowe’s Home Improvement and Lowe’s Millworks, H.A.T.S. Rehabilitation, The Budd Group and Goodwill of Springfield.
Openings include assembly and production, certified machine operator, quality inspector, industrial maintenance, correctional officer, cafeteria worker, cashier, customer service, mill work specialist, forklift operator, resident assistant, dietary aide, shipping and receiving, certified nursing assistant, registered nurse and other positions. Rates of pay range from $9 per hour to $35,000 per year.
Representatives from these companies will be on-site and interviews are possible, so job-seekers should dress for success. Job candidates are encouraged to bring a resume, photo ID and their Social Security card or birth certificate.
