CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Local organizations are asking for volunteers for a study focusing on the successful transition of veterans into civilian employment.
The study requires interviews from 25 to 30 spouses of successfully employed veterans.
Industrial/organizational psychologist Dr. Fred Mael is working with various state, local, and private agencies to conduct research on what makes a veteran successful after their transition and on the job.
The study will also look at how spouses play a role in leading to that success.
Interviews will take approximately 90 minutes each and will be conducted at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Library. Dates are as follows:
September 20: 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
September 21: 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
12:30 to 2 p.m.
2:30 to 4 p.m.
September 22: 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
12:30 to 2 p.m.
The research will be published nationally in academic journals and participants will be provided with a copy of his or her report.
