CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A 19-year-old driver was cited after crashing into a parked car at a home on Ringgold Rd. Monday morning.
Clarksville police said the man was driving a Mitsubishi Lancer at a high rate of speed around 11:45 a.m. when he drove off the left side of the road and crashed into an unoccupied Chevrolet Suburban at 614 Ringgold Rd.
The impact caused the car to leave the concrete driveway and it came to rest in a neighbor’s yard.
The driver’s Mitsubishi stopped inches away from hitting a residence.
The driver was uninjured and was cited for failure to use reasonable care.
