CLARKSVILLE, TN – Spectrum representatives and state Sen. Bill Powers joined Eden Murrie and Daniel Martin with Operation Stand Down Tennessee on Nov. 16 to honor veterans in a special ceremony and make a $2,000 donation to the organization.

Operation Stand Down Tennessee (OSDTN) provides and connects veterans with comprehensive resources focused on transition, employment, housing, benefits, peer engagement, volunteerism and connection to the community.

“Tennessee and the Clarksville community are thankful Spectrum understands that doing business isn’t just about providing service, it’s about people,” said Powers. “It’s great to see companies like Spectrum that are committed to supporting our military personnel through donations and with their career recruiting.”

Spectrum has a dedicated military recruiting program and is committed to helping veterans cultivate meaningful careers. The company employs more than 9,000 veterans and reservists.

“Our military bring unique experiences and training to our teams – and with our programs and partnerships, we look forward to helping them make the most of their civilian careers,” said Mike Sellers, Spectrum Area Vice President for Tennessee. “We are proud to partner with organizations who support the military community.”
