CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Austin Peay State University’s athletics department will host a Pre-season Season Ticket Holder event from 4-6 p.m., Wednesday, July 31 at Strawberry Alley Ale Works’ Pilsner Room.
During the event, season ticket holders may pick up their 2019 Governors Football Season Ticket packages. In addition, fans wishing to purchase season tickets for the upcoming season are welcome to visit with Governors Ticket Office ticket staff in attendance to help them pick their seat.
Governors head coach Mark Hudspeth will join athletics department staff as part of a meet and greet event. Fans can take advantage of Strawberry Alley Ale Works’ daily happy hour specials while picking up their tickets and discussing the upcoming season.
Season ticket holders who cannot attend Wednesday’s event will have their tickets and passes mailed to them.
The Govs kick off the 2019 campaign at home, Thursday, August 29 against North Carolina Central in the first Thursday home game for the program since taking on then No. 4 Eastern Illinois in October of 2013. For the first time since 2003, the Govs will host six home contests. These will be highlighted by games against the OVC’s two FCS Playoff participants last season, Jacksonville State and Southeast Missouri, as the first two home conference games. These games are slated for September 28 and October 12, respectively.
The Austin Peay ticket office is accepting new ticket inquiries for the 2019 season, with changes to the Fortera Stadium seating chart set for this season. The east side of the stadium (Sections J-P) will be the Red Zone housing all general admission seating. The west side of the stadium will be reserved seating along with student seating in sections E-H.
Club level seating is still currently wait-listed but a limited amount of reserved chairback seating is still available.
Fans interested in purchasing reserved chairbacks or joining the club level waitlist should call 931-221-PEAY. Discounts on reserved and general admission tickets are available to active duty and retired military and APSU faculty and staff members.
Fans can join the Monocle Society to enhance their game day experience. Monocle Society members can enjoy preferred seating, parking and tailgating season passes based upon seating option and/or donor level. Membership to the Monocle Society begins at $100.
