SPC Clemente L. Jenkins Jr., affectionately known as CJ or Ment, unexpectedly went home to be with The Lord on July 19th, 2013 in Clarksville, TN. Born on July 3, 1991 to Stacy Young and Clemente Jenkins Sr., CJ was a 2009 graduate of Smithfield High School.
CJ enlisted in the US Army in 2010 and rose to the rank of Specialist.
Clemente leaves to cherish his memory his mother, father, 2 daughters (Aveyana & Zi’onah), his fiancé and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Smithfield High School Sunday July 28th at 2 p.m. Viewing will be at Shivers Funeral on Saturday July 27th from 3:00pm until 6:00pm.
