CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Volunteer Clarksville and Company D, 7th Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, are partnering up for a special day of community service Friday, Aug. 2.
Approximately 60-90 soldiers will work with various organizations to give back to the community and build camaraderie.
In 2012, CPT Ben Summers and 1Lt Ben Skaggs along with more than 60 soldiers lent their time, muscle and expertise to help seven local nonprofit organizations with various projects.
Local organizations participating this year include: Montgomery County Parks and Recreation, Montgomery County Friends of the Shelter, Centerstone and Montgomery County Facilities and Maintenance.
