CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) The Northeast Eagles boys soccer team lost to the Clarksville Wildcats 3-1 in a district game.
The first half was scoreless with a big defensive battle. In the second half of play, Clarksville jumped on the scoreboard first with a shot by David Jones.
Northeast answered back with a score of their own from Kris Beck. In the last two minutes of the game Northeast’s defense fell apart with two penalties in the box. Ryan Gasaway scored on the first penalty shot and Satchel Jordan scored on the second. Northeast goalie Anton Moore had 17 saves in the game.
Both teams are getting ready to host a game in the district tournament.
