CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – With temperatures dropping and rain on the way, there’s a good chance we’ll have snow by Friday.

“There won’t be very much snow, unfortunately, but there may be a little bit,” said Mark Rose, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.

There’s a 40% chance of showers Wednesday night, rising to 50% Thursday and 60% Thursday night. “Then it’s going to turn colder, so that Thursday night and Friday morning, we may see the rain taper off into a light snow,” Rose said. “But little or no accumulation is expected.”
