CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – With overnight lows in the single digits, following up to 6 inches of snow in Clarksville on Thursday, several closures and event cancellations are expected on Friday.

Roxy Regional Theatre: Opening night for “The Agitators” has been delayed by one week. It will open Monday, Jan. 24, at 7 p.m.

City of Clarksville: All administrative offices will be closed.

  • Clarksville Transit System: Service will start with a two-hour delay for all routes. CTS will communicate any changes through the CTS SPOT mobile app. You may also visit www.rideCTS.com or the CTS Facebook page for any updates.
  • Gas & Water: The Clarksville Gas & Water administration and engineering offices will be closed, including the north and south customer service centers. The department will only be open for emergencies. In the event of a gas, water, or sewer emergency, customers should call (931) 645-7400 or the after-hours emergency line at (931) 645-0116. The Utility Billing Line, (931) 645-7400, automated pay by phone and WebConnect, www.clarksvillegw.com, online bill payment feature will be operational. The payment drop box on 2215 Madison St. is available at any hour, and Kiosk paysites located at 111 Cunningham Lane and Clarksville 24-hour Hi-Road Convenience Stores are available for customer bill payment.
  • Municipal Court: The Court Clerk’s Office will be closed. The court will still be in session; however, please reschedule your court date if you deem it too dangerous to get there. There will be no repercussions. On Monday, you may contact the Municipal Court by calling (931) 648-4604 or by email at ernie.griffith@cityofclarksville.com.
  • Clarksville Street Department: The Clarksville Street Department will continue to focus on clearing City thoroughfares and hilly areas, eventually spreading its efforts to subdivisions and residential streets.
  • CDE Lightband: The office will remain open, but customers are highly encouraged to use phone and online systems to reach the utility when possible. In the event of a service outage, please call (931) 648-8151. Customers may also go online at https://cdelightband.com/customer-service/ for service and bill paying information.

State of Tennessee offices: Gov. Bill Lee has closed state offices in West, Middle and East Tennessee. State employees will utilize work from home capabilities where possible. State services offered online will remain available. All citizens are urged to exercise caution and avoid non-essential travel where possible on Friday.

Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools: All CMCSS schools and district offices will be closed. After-school activities and athletics are canceled.

Austin Peay State University: APSU will be closed, and all on-ground classes and events are canceled. Students need to check their D2L course sites for details on make-up assignments or tests, or contact the instructor for more information.

Daymar-Hussian College: Clarksville campus will be closed.

Clarksville Academy: CA will be closed.

Clarksville Christian School: CCS will be closed.

Power and Grace Preparatory Academy: The school will be closed.

Montgomery County Government: Offices will remain closed.

Fort Campbell: The post will be open for limited operations. Mission essential and emergency personnel will remain or report as directed by their supervisor. Employees of tenant organizations and contractors should contact their supervisor for instructions. Military personnel will take guidance from their commands.

  • Fort Campbell schools and offices will be closed; this includes after-school and weekend activities.
  • The Commissary will be closed.
  • The Main Exchange will be closed; the 24-hour Kentucky Express will close Jan. 6 at 10 p.m. and reopen Jan. 7 at 9 a.m.
  • TC Freeman gate, as well as gates 7, 10, Sabre I, and Sabre II will remain open 24/7.

Blanchfield Army Community Hospital: BACH will close all outpatient services including all primary care and specialty care services, pharmacies, COVID-19 test site, COVID-19 vaccine site, behavioral health, women’s health clinic, dental and Screaming Eagle Medical Home. Remaining open will be emergency and inpatient services, including hospital admissions to the inpatient ward, Intensive Care Unit, Labor, Delivery and Recovery and Mother/Baby unit and supporting services remain open. Bi-County Solid Waste: All operations will be closed. The Convenience Centers, Transfer Station and Main Landfill are expected to be open regular operating hours on Saturday.
