CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – With freezing rain and ice possible overnight, more closures are being announced.

Below is a list of closures and delayed openings. Email closure notices to news@clarksvillenow.com.

Schools

  • Austin Peay State University opens at 10 a.m. Friday.
  • Clarksville-Montgomery County School System closed Friday. If mission-essential employees need to report to work, they will be contacted by supervisors. CMCSS will be able to apply for a waiver from the state for the fourth of five days for the closure tomorrow.
  • Clarksville Christian School closed Friday.
  • Queen City College closed through Saturday. Will reopen Tuesday.

Government

  • City of Clarksville offices will close at 3 p.m. Friday. Essential city public safety personnel will be on duty as usual and all essential City services will continue on schedule.
  • City Court closed Friday.
  • Clarksville Gas & Water offices closed Friday.
  • CDE Lightband offices open at 9 a.m.
  • Montgomery County Government offices closed Friday.
  • State of Tennessee offices closed Friday.

Other

  • Bi-County Solid Waste Management landfills and convenience centers will close at 10 a.m. Friday.
  • Clarksville Parks and Recreation parks, trails and facilities will close at 3 p.m. Friday.
  • Premier Medical Group offices and clinics open at 1 p.m. Friday
