CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Road conditions improved today, but with more winter weather expected Thursday, more closures are being announced.

Schools
- Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools closed Thursday. If mission-essential employees need to report to work, they will be contacted by supervisors. CMCSS will be able to apply for a waiver from the state for the third of five days for the closure.

Queen City College closed Thursday.
Government
- City of Clarksville government offices closed at noon Thursday. Essential city public safety personnel will be on duty as usual and all essential City services will continue.
- City Court closed at noon Thursday.
- Clarksville Gas & Water offices closed at noon Thursday. Customers should call the after-hours phone line, 931-645-0116, to report an emergency.
- CDE Lightband offices will close their lobby at 3 p.m. Thursday.
- CMCSS School Board meeting scheduled for Thursday is rescheduled for Monday, Jan. 22, 6 p.m. Central Office Board Room, 621 Gracey Ave.
Other
- Clarksville Ajax Turner 50+ Center closed Thursday and Friday.
- Clarksville Transit System buses will continue to operate on snow routes at regular scheduled times.
- Parks and Recreation parks, trails and recreation centers, including Fort Defiance, will close at noon Thursday.
