We all have a story to tell because we all have been through something worth telling. Our story is no less important or insignificant than someone else’s, let alone on a bigger scale our nation’s story. Our story is our personal time capsule that reminds us where we have been and points us to where we are headed or want to be.

When we at Sacer and Savive designed our tattered stars and bars design we had your story in mind. We thought about what you personally have endured, what you have gone through and your perseverance through it all. With it also being independence week, we are in the mindset to celebrate our freedom. Let this time be a time of celebration for not just our country but your individuality as well!

You have come so far and you may not be where you want to be yet but you sure aren’t where you were! Remember that and press on! Endure harder and persevere even stronger! If you thought, “Well dang, that’s hard to do alone,” well I’d say you’re right! But fun fact: You’re not alone and you’re not doing anything alone!

Sneak peek here of my personal story: I went through a rough relationship and it ended in divorce but before I made it through that I was doing it alone. I was filling my life with so much darkness. Feeling that gut punch of unworthiness from my then-husband who had been sleeping around and decided he was done. I turned to a group of so called “friends” who led me into a life of stealing, couch surfing and self-indulgence that only led me into a deeper void that just couldn’t be filled.

I slowly found my way back home. Talk about a prodigal son moment; I’m sure we all have one. Jesus found me. He saw me broken and hurting wet and all alone. He scooped me up from my mess that was my life. Never did I have to clean myself up first. He molded my heart first then he just held me up until I could stand on my own again. My faith started to grow and soon I could not just stand, I could run! My strength was back and I was getting pumped up.

Life was becoming life again and not just waking just to finally sleep and repeat. Fast forward several years and God brought me an amazing husband and has taken away any bitterness, hate and insecurities brought from my past. He brought me through the muck and cleaned me up to complete wholeness. Endurance is one of those words that means so much because I have been there and fought my way out. It means so much because it was so hard for so long and now I can look back and not in a bitter, ‘I wish I could change that part of my life’ kind of way but a ‘thankful that through the mess God has given me a message’ way.

Sacer and Savive stands as a tribe of encouragement for you! It’s a clothing brand with a deep meaning. Wear the design that hits home, wear the design that speaks to you.
