CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Smith’s Garage Door has joined the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce and a ribbon cutting was held for the business on Thursday, January 15. The company is the largest garage door dealer in Tennessee.
Smith’s Garage Door has been open in Clarksville since 1992 and was run by Gaylon Smith. Owners Bill and Ken Earnest bought the business in May 2014 and are continuing the business with Smith as Residential Sales Manager.
Bill Earnest said the four original staff members who were with the business when they took over are still there and they have added three additional people with plans for one more employee to fill customers complete garage door and opener needs.
Earnest added they have remodeled the property to make it a state of the art garage door showroom. Customers can also bring in a photo of their home and through a computer can see what the doors will look like on their house before they make a purchase.
“We have come in to grow the business into a full residential and commercial door dealership. We take care of residential and commercial garage doors and openers. We also take care of high speed doors, docking equipment and rolling grilles” said Earnest.
