CLARKSVILLE, TN – The Downtown Artists Co-op will host “Small Works, Big Talent,” an exhibit featuring artwork no larger than 12 inches, from Sept. 2-28.
The opening reception will take place Thursday, Sept. 4, from 5-8 p.m. during the First Thursday Art Walk. The event will include live music by Space Brotha Earl.
“Just as a haiku challenges poets to use few words, DAC artist members have embraced the reduced format,” said Lisa Harden, DAC member and show curator. “It’s amazing how much creativity and meaning can be packed into something so small.”
The exhibit will be on display at the Downtown Artists Co-op, 96 Franklin St. Admission is free. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday from noon to 4 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 1-5 p.m.
