CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Slim Chickens, a fast-casual restaurant, is ready to open the doors to their first Clarksville location this week.
The restaurant is best known for all-natural chicken tenders that are buttermilk-marinated, hand-breaded and always cooked fresh-to-order. They offer 17 house-made sauces. Slim Chickens also offers fresh sandwiches, salads, wraps and their signature chicken and waffles. Rotating desserts served in Mason jars are also available.

“We are thrilled for the opportunity to expand our Slim Chickens footprint in Clarksville with this newest location,” said Restaurant Director Harold Wallace. “Clarksville is known for its Southern charm, and the food Slim Chickens offers is perfect for the city.”
The Clarksville location, which will be on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard, will bring more than 100 new jobs, according to a news release.
Since its founding in 2003 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the brand has celebrated over 200 openings in 33 states, with an overall goal of opening 600 restaurants by 2025. In Tennessee, the brand has already grown to seven locations.
“Our freshly made Southern dishes and homemade recipes create loyal guests who feel good about the food they’re eating, and we’re proud to be able to grow our loyal fan base into the Clarksville market,” said Slim Chickens Chief Operating Officer Sam Rothschild.

Slim Chickens opens the week of April 4 at 2900 Wilma Rudolph Blvd. Hours of operation will be 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. weekdays and weekends.
