CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – On Sunday, Nov. 3, Project Yesu will celebrate Orphan Sunday by hosting the 2nd Annual Orphan Luncheon.
The luncheon will be held at the brand new Belle Hollow event venue inside of Miss. Lucille’s Marketplace at 2231 L Madison Street in Clarksville. The event raises awareness for orphans/vulnerable children worldwide. Anyone who has adopted, is adopted or is considering adoption is welcome to attend.
Representatives from Lifeline Children’s Service and Miriam’s Promise (adoption agencies) and adoptive parents will be guest speakers. The special musical guest is Dove Award winning singer, Francesca Battistelli.
There will be door prizes and silent auction items, including signed items by Tennessee Titans and Nashville Predators, beautiful hand-crafted jewelry and autographed items by several Christian artists. An orphan’s meal will also be served.
Tickets are $15 (Children 10 and under are FREE) in advance and can be purchased at www.projectyesu.org. Tickets will be $20 at the door.
All proceeds from this event will benefit Project Yesu’s latest project – a feeding program in the Acholi Quarter in Uganda that will serve breakfast each weekday to between 50-100 children.
