Update, 8:32 a.m.: Clarksville Police announced the Silver Alert has been canceled and McDowell was found safe by the Barlett Police Department and the Memphis Police Department.
CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – On behalf of the Clarksville Police Department, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued a Silver Alert for Joe Dave McDowell, a 67-year-old white man who is bald with brown eyes and a white beard.
McDowell was last seen on the morning of April 13, at his hotel in Clarksville at 1:30 a.m. He left the parking lot driving a blue 2018 Nissan Rogue with Tennessee tags that read BDN0161, according to CPD spokesperson Scott Beaubien.
The 67-year-old has several conditions that may impair his ability to return safely without assistance. With that being said, if you have seen McDowell or have information about his whereabouts, please contact CPD at (931) 648-0656 ext. 5651 or TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
