CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – In a ribbon cutting, Thursday, September 19, Signs Now was the latest business to be recognized and become Clarksville-Montgomery County Green Certified.

Montgomery County Mayor Carolyn Bowers, Signs Now owner Dick Pryor and employees of the business were on hand for their green ribbon cutting held at Signs Now, 1537 Ft. Campbell Boulevard.

Pryor talked about some of the steps he has taken at Signs Now to help the environment. “We’re trying to save everything we can. We try to shut things down at night and we’ve talked with our employees to do the same thing at their houses. Everywhere we can we’re trying to save from taking it to the dump,” Pryor said.

Mayor Bowers congratulated Signs Now on their environmental efforts. “The good part of this is it spreads. By you deciding you want your company to go through this process, your employees have picked up on it and it will spread through their families and the next generation will be more trained in being environmentally friendly,” Bowers said.
