SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — There are warning labels on ads for smokes and booze — and soon there could such labels for soda.

At least in San Francisco. Officials in the city by the bay are considering a requirement for warning labels on ads for soda and other sugary drinks.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports the measure was introduced by a member of the Board of Supervisors this week.

The requirement could go into effect in about three months.
