CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Daylight saving time is the practice of advancing clocks during warmer months so that darkness falls at a later clock time.

We set clocks forward by one hour in the spring (“spring forward”) and set them back one hour in the fall (“fall back”) to return to standard time.

Some have pushed for DST to be ended for multiple reasons, including its effects on health, including sleep, appetite and mood issues.
