Update, 1:40 p.m.: According to Montgomery County Sheriff’s spokesperson Sandra Brandon, MCSO units responded to the shooting Wednesday afternoon.
Brandon said the individuals involved left the scene, and the MCSO units are canvassing the area in search of both suspects and possible victims. Witnesses were able to provide descriptions of the cars driven by the suspects.
This appeared to be an isolated incident, and Brandon said there does not appear to be a threat to the public.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A shooting has been reported near the Tractor Supply Company at 3355 Guthrie Highway.
According to a post in the Clarksville-Montgomery County Crimewatch Facebook page, eyewitnesses heard shots and nearby Sam’s Club was put on lockdown momentarily.
Clarksville Now has reached out to the Clarksville Police Department and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office for more information.
