CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville police officers responded to a shots fired call on the 1500 block of Nolen Rd. Sunday at 12:40 a.m.
According to Officer Natalie Hall, one victim struck by gunfire was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center and is expected to recover.
The suspect has been identified as Marcus Mitchell of Clarksville. He was arrested Sunday and charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Possession, and Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia. His total bond amount is $30,500.
Detective Chris Cunningham is in charge of the investigation. There is no further information at this time.
