Shirley Jordan DeLong, 81, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2016, at Tennova Healthcare of Clarksville.
Shirley was born on August 8, 1935, in Red Boiling Springs, TN to the late Lloyd Smith and Gertrude Davis Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Oliver DeLong.
Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Burial will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West in Hopkinsville, KY. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2016, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. and Thursday, December 15, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Shirley is survived by three daughters, Theresa Howard of Dallas, TX, Janet Bartee of Clarksville, TN, and Lois Bannister of Dallas, TX and three grandchildren.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
