A Celebration of Life service for Shirley Ann Atkins, age 72, of Clarksville, TN, will be Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Slayden Church of God of Prophecy at 12:00 p.m. with Bro. David Mackens officiating. Burial will follow in Slayden Church of God Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Sykes Funeral Home and again on Thursday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Shirley was born on September 14, 1950, in Dickson, TN, to Earl and Mary Frances Clark. She passed away on August 21, 2023. She loved watching Sci-Fi and Lifetime movies. She also enjoyed drinking coffee and eating snacks.
In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her son, Joel Hutchison. She is survived by her husband, Doug Atkins, daughters, Terri (Albert Arnold) Hutchison and Jennifer (Jason) Meek, 9 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
