You’ve asked for it, you’ve got it: A triple-decker brunch menu at Shelby’s Trio!

But since it’s Shelby’s Trio, you know this menu will offer an exciting twist on the standard brunch. Here are some examples:

Egg Salad Sliders: Bite-sized and loaded with crispy bacon, spring mix and tomatoes.

Mexican Omelette: With chorizo, bell peppers, onions, avocado, cheese sauce and salsa verde.

Cured Salmon Omelette: With spinach, cream cheese, red onion and capers.

Shrimp and Creamy Parmesan Polenta: With lemon, butter, chives, parsley and Cajun spices.

Plus, you can try items you won’t easily find elsewhere in Clarksville:

Deep-Fried Scottish Eggs: A hard-boiled egg encased in British sausage meat then fried.

Breakfast Empanadas: A flaky crust around chorizo, potato, egg, peppers and cheese.

Irish Breakfast: Eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, fried tomatoes and pinto beans.

A variety of brunch-appropriate drinks are available, including mimosas by the bucket, sangria, Bloody Marys and Tequila Sunrise.

“Cathi and I have looked forward to offering our Clarksville community another downtown option for weekend brunch enjoyment,” Shelby’s Trio owner Joe Maynard said.

Brunch is now available on all three floors from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday.

Third floor open to all

So, if brunch is open on the third floor, does that mean you can bring the kids? Yes!

Shelby’s Trio is tweaking the rules to open the third-floor Skyline 500 rooftop bar to all ages during most of the week, so kids can enjoy the spectacular view of downtown and the Cumberland River.

But not every night: The Skyline 500 Bar will still be 21 and older on Fridays and Saturdays from 7 p.m. until closing.

“That gives everybody the best of both worlds, with the third floor open to families, but limited to 21 and up on weekend nights,” said Sara Golden with Shelby’s Trio.

Free parking for customers

Customers are reminded that parking at Shelby’s Trio is free to everyone who’s eating there.

A policy is in place to charge people if they’re just parking and going somewhere else, Golden said, and that’s to reserve parking for Shelby’s Trio customers. Parking will always be validated for people eating at the restaurants.

And more parking is coming! Shelby’s Trio has bought properties across Second Street in order to add another 80 to 100 parking spots by this fall.

Shelby’s Trio is located at 304 N. Second St. For more, call 931-919-3373.
