Shari Sampson Skaggs, age 61, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Celebration of Life will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Shari entered this life on November 24, 1962, in Junction City, Kansas. She was Catholic, loved spending time with her grandkids, and was an avid Tennessee Titans fan. Shari was retried from Civil Service, where she was the Division Readiness Officer, ACOFS, G-3 for the 101st Airborne Division, for 35 years.
Shari was preceded in death by her father, David Barber, and her birth father, Robert Sampson. Shari is also preceded in death by her life companion, Terry Smith.
Survivors include her mother, Celine Goldrick Barber; daughters, January Skaggs, and Theresa Grubbs (Charley); grandchildren, Cameron Skaggs, Layla Reynolds, Andrew Grubbs, and Samantha Grubbs. She also leaves behind her sister, Deb (Gerry) Hailey, and nieces, Amanda (Curtis) Johnson, Ashley West, Madison (Greg) Cleveland, and MacKenzie Hailey.
