SGM (Ret) Albert Dalao, age 82, of Clarksville, TN passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Tennessee State Veterans Home.
Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Burial with full military honors will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Albert entered this life on May 10, 1940, in Hawaii to the late Basilio and Valentina Hiemenez Dalao.
He was a Catholic and a retired veteran of the United States Army. While in the service, Albert served three tours in Vietnam and was a recipient of The Purple Heart. Following his dedicated service to his country, Albert was a truck driver for various companies.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Carol Dalao, and son, Matthew Dalao.
Survivors include his daughter, Amorette (Michael) Rockenbaugh; son by marriage, Henry Milton Souza; brother, Alan Dalao, and sister, Veronica Dalao Carvalho. Albert also leaves behind numerous cousins.
