The Severe Thunderstorm Watch will be in effect until 11 p.m. on Friday, June 26.
The afternoon will be mostly cloudy A 50 percent chance of precipitation. Showers, thunderstorms and some hail are expected tonight, with west southwest winds from 5 to 10 mph. Storm damage to buildings is expected in some areas. Residents should note that the lowest floor of any building is the safest location for shelter during storms.
