Severe storms possible Tuesday night

Forecasters say severe storms may hit Montgomery County area.

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The National Weather Service in Nashville has announced that severe weather may hit the Middle Tennessee area between 5 and 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Showers and thunderstorms are likely with lows in the upper 60s. Winds will reach anywhere from 5 to 10 miles per hour.

A front approaching the area overnight could produce gusty winds and late night storms.
