CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The National Weather Service says severe storms are possible throughout the weekend in Middle TN.

The risk of severe weather begins Friday evening. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible across northwest Middle Tennessee. Some storms will be strong to severe with damaging winds, large
hail, heavy rainfall, localized flooding, and an isolated tornado all possible.

Saturday will be hot with a high of 89 degrees and partly cloudy skies. Some showers and thunderstorms are possible before 8 a.m. and then again after 2 p.m.

Sunday poses the same risk for severe weather as Friday, with hail, flooding, and damaging winds all possible, mainly after 2 p.m.

Highs throughout the weekend will be in the lower to mid 80s with lows in the 50s and 60s.
