CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – When singer-songwriter Jason Isbell premieres the music video for his new song “Something More Than Free” on July 24, locals may notice some familiar faces among the footage.

Members of Clarksville Fire Rescue (Station 4) are among those featured in the video. Engineers Chuck Morrison and Brian Steinsultz, along with firefighters Bryan Braun, Tyler Ziolkowski and Chris Cummings will make appearances in the piece, directed by James Weems of Weems/Rose Films.

Also featured are: musician and Senior Account Executive for 5 Star Media Group Mike Robinson as a preacher, Roxy Regional Theatre actor Alicia Kelly as a working mother of two.

Locations for some of the scenes include St. Bethlehem Volunteer Fire Department, The Trenton, Kentucky home of Steve Sawyers and the Luttrell family house, as well as the church, which is also on the family’s property. Jerry Buchanan, Director of the Montgomery County Emergency Management Agency, coordinated the use of the St. Bethlehem fire station and one of its fire trucks.

The premise of the video is based on the daily life of Chris Cummings and all those he comes into contact with.

Isbell himself does not appear in the video, though members of the cast will meet him at his sold-out performance at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville scheduled for October 26.

The trailer for “Something More Than Free” is now available on CMT.com. The official video will premiere exclusively on the website on Friday, July 24.
