CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) Services for Pastor Jimmy Terry will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, June 27 at First Baptist Church of Clarksville.
Visitation will be from 12-7 p.m. Monday and from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist.
Terry died Wednesday of cancer. He was 80.
Pastor Terry was a fixture in the Clarksville community, often leading prayer at events such as The Mayor’s Breakfast and Chamber of Commerce annual gala. He attended many graduations, ministering and encouraging new graduates.
Pastor Terry’s passion for evangelism led him to start a sign campaign during Easter and Christmas that put Jesus Christ at the center of the holidays.
