NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The sentencing for two former Vanderbilt football players convicted of rape has been postponed until April 24.
WKRN News 2 reports that Brandon Vandenburg and Cory Batey were scheduled to be sentenced for raping Vandenburg’s then-girlfriend in June 2013 next Friday, March 6.
They were found guilty last month and each face at least 15 years in prison.
Officials said the date was pushed back due to a scheduling conflict with a defense attorney.
