MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office have made a second arrest in the murder of Billy Pace Jr.
Jessica Lynn Summer Simo, 36, has been taken into custody and charged with first degree felony murder. Her bond is $500,000.
This is an active investigation. No further information is available at this time.
A 17-year-old-male was previously arrested and charged with criminal homicide in connection with the murder.
Pace’s body was found Dec. 21, 2016 in a wooded area near the 1000 block of Ross Lane.
He was reported missing by his father on December 18, 2016. Billy Pace Sr. stated he last spoke to his son on December 15 at 11:15 p.m.
His death was ruled a homicide based on an autopsy report.
