Fort Campbell, KY. (CLARKSVILLENOW) Approximately 57 soldiers with the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, “Strike,” of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) returned to Fort Campbell early Tuesday morning after a six-month mission to Ukraine.
One of the soldiers, Master Sergeant Charles Davis said it felt great to be home.
“It’s very humbling to have everyone here to welcome us back, and I thank Yahweh that we’re all back and we made it home safe,” Davis said.
