CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Screaming Eagle Honor Flight’s next flight of the 2016 flying season will be on September 24, 2016.

Participants will be escorted from Clarksville to the Nashville Airport by the Patriot Guard Riders and back that evening. The group leaves from the Sam’s Club at exit 4 at 3:45 a.m. and arrives at the Nashville airport at approximately 5 a.m.

The Veterans on this flight include World War II, Korea, and Vietnam Veterans. During this one day trip the group will visit the World War II memorial, Korean War memorial, Vietnam War memorial, the Air Force memorial, and the Marine Corps memorial also known as the Iwo Jima memorial. They will also see the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers.

Arrival back to Nashville is scheduled for 9:20 p.m. on Southwest flight 3429.

Screaming Eagle Honor Flight is accepting Veterans applications for this flight and our upcoming flights in 2017.

These flights are free to the Veterans and are funded by donations from businesses, groups, and individuals. All donations are tax deductible as Screaming Eagle Honor Flight is an IRS approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
