CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Screaming Eagle Honor Flight has planned its next flight of the year for July 25.
On board this flight will be 25 World War II, Korean War, and for the first time Vietnam War veterans.
Thanks to the patriotic and generous donations of individuals and organizations, these veterans will get to see the monuments built in their honor in Washington DC at no charge to them.
This is a trip most veterans would have never made if not for Honor Flight.
While in Washington DC the veterans will visit the World War II Memorial, The Korean War Memorial, The Vietnam War Memorial, The Air Force Memorial, The Marine Memorial, and also go to Arlington National Cemetery to watch the changing of the Guards at the Tomb of the Unknowns.
Anyone wishing to see the veterans that depart from Clarksville via bus can go to the Sam’s club parking lot at 4:30 a.m.
Future flights are tentatively scheduled for September 27, 2015.
