CLARKSVILLE, TN − Scouts from Cub Scout Pack 185, with assistance from Boy Scout Troops 500 and 289 and members of Fellowship UMC, collected 51 duffel bags with stuffed animals and hygiene kits.

They were donated to the Clarksville Police Department to give to children that are being removed from homes. Currently, when a child enters foster care, all their belongings are put in a black trash bag.

“Our hope is that the stuffed animal will provide a little comfort, and the duffel bag will help make things a little easier for them as they transition.”
